Zytturm of the City Zug
The 52 meter tall landmark was build in the 14 hundreds. It was part of the city wall which protected Zug's citizens from intruders. Today the tower separates the historic and the new part of Zug. The tower is open for visits. Just below the roof is a small room which used to be occupied by the "storm warner" (an early version of today's meteorologists) and provides you with a fantastic view over the city, the lake, and the surrounding mountains. More about the historyof the Zytturm.
